Scope

At Flowmaster we respect your privacy. Flowmaster Group consists of the following group members: Flowmaster Ltd, Flowmaster USA Inc, Flowmaster GmbH, Flowmaster France Sarl and Flowmaster India. When we collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) about you, whether obtained via our website, electronic communication, telephone or face to face, it is controlled by Flowmaster Ltd.

Information Collected

Our Website
When you visit our website www.flowmaster.com you may be asked to provide us with PII which may include your name or email address. We ask for this information when you register for additional information, educational webinars or events, product information or our Customer Portal etc. We also automatically record information such as IP addresses, pages visited and search terms used to find our website so we can optimise its content.

Our Customer Portal
Customers who use our Customer Portal should be aware that we record data as a result of your use, this includes the data and time of logon, IP address and any information you include in forum messages. Full terms and conditions of the use of the Customer Portal can be found here.

Direct Contact
Information obtained from direct contact either face to face, by email or by telephone, e.g. business card exchange, support telephone conversation etc, may be entered, managed and used in our customer relationship database. This allows us to understand your individual needs and respond to you in the most appropriate way. Further information on how we use this data can be found in the following section.

Uses and Sharing

The information (PII) you provide will be used by Flowmaster Group to:

  • evaluate the effectiveness of and to improve our communications
  • provide you with a personalised service
  • provide enhanced products and service to help you deliver better engineering solutions
  • keep you informed about current and future Flowmaster products and services, e.g. educational webinars and materials, maintenance notices, upgrade offers, new product functionality.

You will always have the option to opt-out of receiving any further communications.

What Happens to Your Information
When you provide us with information it will be included in our customer relationship database, Salesforce.com, hosted in the United States. Salesforce.com adheres to all the requirements of the European Privacy Directive 95/46/EC and is self certified under the Federal Trade Commissions (FTC) ‘Safe Harbor’ program.

Your data will be automatically routed to the most appropriate Flowmaster office or when we do not have a regional office, to our contracted Distributors; this is determined by your location. This allows us to provide you the best local service delivered by people aware of your specific regional requirements.

We do not share your information with third parties outside of our Distributor network without your prior consent. We only collect this information so we can provide you with enhanced products and services.

Cookies and Tracking Technology
When you visit our website, one or more cookies may be placed on (or read from) your computer, if your browser is set to accept cookies. These cookies are used to maintain current session data, and to help us analyse website traffic in order to provide you with a more relevant and personal experience. Access to Data
You have the right to access the PII we hold about you. This is to allow you to correct or amend your data. It is important to us to keep the data we hold up to date, therefore we encourage you to let us know if your circumstances change. Should you wish to inform us of a change or request access to your personal data please contact us at privacy@flowmaster.com or at our postal address. If you wish to access your personal data, Flowmaster Ltd may ask a maximum of £10 GBP toward the cost of collating this information. Marketing
Flowmaster Group believes that permission-based direct marketing is the best way to remain in contact with our prospects / customers. Accordingly, we will always ask permission when we want to use your contact information for this purpose. With every communication, you will be offered the opportunity to opt-out of future correspondence should you so wish.

Important Information

Privacy of Children Who are 12 and Younger
It is our policy that a person must be 13 years of age or older to enter their e-mail address or any other information on flowmaster.com. We recognise that children's privacy is of the utmost importance and will not knowingly accept personal information from children without parental consent. In the event a parent believes that his/her child has provided information to Flowmaster and wishes that data to be removed or corrected, please contact Flowmaster as described in the following section.

We will occasionally update this Privacy Policy. At such a time, we will also revise the 'Last updated' date at the top of this Policy and place a prominent notice on our website.
